The Chef
Belkis Crowe was born in the Dominican Republic and where she began her love of cooking. She spent many of her younger years watching and learning the classic home cooking techniques from her Grandmother Mercedes. Belkis trained to become a professional chef in 2008 and perfected her trade at the famous Garden City Hotel. Belkis Bites was founded in 2015 when her Paleo style Classics were discovered at Crossfit Garden City and she began cooking for private clients to achieve their weight goals.
Belkis Bites has reinvented the classics while using only organic products and maintaining Paleo concepts for healthy and satisfying meals.

The Paleo diet is a nutritional approach that focuses on eating only foods that are high in nutrients, unprocessed, and based on the foods that were available and eaten by humans in Paleolithic times.
